Abstract:
This study was carried out to find out the Prevalence of Diabetic Foot Ulcers, Knowledge on Foot Care and Association Factors Among Adults type 2 Diabetic Mellitus patients who attend the diabetic follow–up clinic at Teaching Hospital Batticaloa during study period of 2023. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in Diabetic clinic of Teaching Hospital Batticaloa. Complete enumeration was used to select the sample. A validated selfadministered questionnaire was used for data collection. Statistical software (SPSS 21.0) was used to analyze the data. Ethical approval was obtained from the Ethical Review Committee, Faculty of Health - Care Sciences, Eastern University, Sri Lanka.
